Robert Seymour has extensive work experience in the real estate industry. Robert began their career at Jones Lang LaSalle as a Manager in the Valuation Department, where they worked from 1987 to 1995. Robert then moved on to Schroders Property, where they served as a Senior Asset Manager, responsible for a portfolio of retail assets. During their time at Schroders Property, they achieved notable successes in negotiating leases and executing refurbishment opportunities.

In 1999, Seymour joined Colonial First State Property as a Capital Transactions Manager. In this role, they sourced and executed acquisition opportunities for listed property trusts and a wholesale fund, as well as handled divestment requirements. Robert successfully acquired and disposed of numerous shopping centers and office buildings with a combined value exceeding $1 billion.

In 2005, Seymour joined FKP as an Acquisitions Manager before moving to ING Real Estate in 2007, where they served as an Acquisitions/Disposal Manager. At ING Real Estate, their responsibilities included due diligence investigations, contract negotiations, and preparation of Board reports for acquisitions and disposals within the fund. Robert achieved significant success in divesting non-core assets as part of the fund's debt reduction program.

After their tenure at ING Real Estate, Seymour joined Ramsay Property Group in 2010. As their Capital Transactions/Development Management professional, they were responsible for identifying, analyzing, and conducting due diligence investigations for acquisition opportunities within the group. Robert also managed key stakeholders during the design and construction process, secured approvals from relevant authorities, and ensured timely and budgeted project delivery.

Since 2012, Seymour has been with Charter Hall, where they have held various leadership positions. Robert started as the Head of Retail Transactions before assuming the role of Head of Retail & Social Infrastructure Transactions. Currently, they serve as the Head of Transactions. Their tenure at Charter Hall is ongoing.

Robert Seymour attended Chatham High School from 1978 to 1983. Robert then pursued higher education at Western Sydney University from 1984 to 1986, where they obtained a degree in Land Economy. Their field of study during this time focused on valuation, development, and property law.
