Edgardo Rivera-Rivera

Edgardo Rivera-Rivera has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Currently, they are the Medical Director and Principal Investigator at Charter Research, responsible for overseeing clinical trials and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Edgardo also served as the Franchise Owner of Expedia Cruises - Orlando Lake Nona from 2019 to 2023. In the field of emergency medicine, they worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician and Emergency Physician at GuideWell Emergency Doctors and as an ED Attending Physician at Hunters Creek FSED and Osceola Regional Medical Center and Orlando Health Central. Edgardo also worked as a Telemedicine Emergency Medicine Physician at Crucialist. In addition, they held leadership positions such as ED Medical Director at Phoenix Physicians, EMS Medical Director at Saginaw Valley Medical Control Authority, and Assistant Residency Program Director at Synergy Medical Education Alliance. Edgardo also served as the Regional Medical Director, Fiduciary Agent, and Chairman of the Board at Michigan Bioterrorism/Disaster Defense Network Region 3.

Edgardo Rivera-Rivera completed their education with a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Public Health Policy and Administration from the University of Michigan in 1995. Prior to that, their earlier education was at Universidad CETEC, where they obtained a medical degree (M.D.) in 1982.
