Raphael Garcia da Silveira

Raphael Garcia da Silveira, MBA, currently serves as the Melt Shop Production Manager and previously held the roles of Rolling Mill Production Manager and Melt Shop Process Engineer/Metallurgist at Charter Steel since October 2018. Prior to this, Raphael worked at Gerdau Long Steel North America from May 2015 to September 2018 as a Melting Routine Facilitator II / Production Supervisor, overseeing melting operations and managing a team of 18 employees. Earlier experience at Gerdau from February 2008 to April 2015 included roles as Routine Facilitator / Production Supervisor in the Rolling Mill, Quality Assurance Advisor, and Quality Assurance Assistant, where significant contributions to quality management and operational improvements were made. Raphael holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and an Engineer's degree in Materials Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.
