Catherine Dixon

Catherine Dixon has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Catherine is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators since April 2020. Previously, they served as the Chair of Stonewall starting in January 2018. From July 2017 to May 2020, they were a Board Trustee at CEDR, and from January 2018 to April 2020, they were a Non Executive Director at the York, North Yorkshire, and East Riding Partnership. Catherine also held the position of Chief Executive Officer and Principal at Askham Bryan College from April 2017 to July 2019. In addition, they were a Non Executive Director at LANDEX LAND BASED COLLEGES ASPIRING TO EXCELLENCE from November 2017 to May 2019 and was part of the Leadership group at YORK AND NORTH YORKSHIRE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE from April 2017 to May 2019.

Prior to these roles, Catherine served as a Trustee at PDSA from June 2011 to December 2017, the Chief Executive Officer of The Law Society from January 2015 to April 2017, and the Chief Executive Officer of NHS Resolution from April 2012 to December 2014.

Catherine Dixon has a strong education history in the field of law and business. Catherine holds a LLB (hons) degree in Law from Leeds Beckett University, which they obtained from 1988 to 1991. Catherine then pursued further legal studies at the College of Law, where they obtained a Legal Practice Course (LPC) qualification from 1991 to 1992.
