Erik Maday

Erik Maday has a diverse work experience. In 2020, they began working as a Software Engineer IV at CharterUP, and has since held Software Engineer III, II, and I roles. From 2014-2015, they held several roles at Georgia Tech Basketball, including Graduate Assistant, Graphic Designer and Head Manager, Head Manager, and Manager. During this time, they created or directed creation of all photo, video, and graphic content for public and internal use, developed and implemented a strategic plan to engage and grow the fan base through social media initiatives, and planned and produced year-round content. Erik also served as a liason for student-managers and all athletes and twelve coaches to coordinate operations of all practice, games, and travel. In 2015, Erik held an In-Shop role at Jimmy John's, and in 2014 they were a Cashier at Hinsdale Community Pool.

Erik Maday completed their high school education at Hinsdale Central High School, graduating in 2014. Erik then attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2017. In 2018, they continued their education at Kent State University, where they earned a Master of Science in User Experience Design in 2020. In addition, Erik obtained two certifications from Certiport: an Adobe Certified Associate in Print & Digital Media Using Adobe InDesign in May 2014, and a Microsoft Technology Associate HTML5 Application Developer Fundamentals in May 2013.
