Kristine Zimmer began their professional career in 2019 as a Visitor Services Assistant at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive. In 2020, they took on the role of Vice President of Programming for the Zeta Tau Alpha - Upsilon Chapter, where they led a team of 22 officers to collaboratively develop and implement programming relating to service, professional development, and community development. In 2021, they became a Research Lab Assistant at the Lacey Lab, where they performed animal husbandry duties weekly to a captive colony of social rodents and set up and executed video trials to collect behavioral data. In 2022, they took on two roles: Customer Success Account Manager at CharterUP and Field Research Assistant at the Nevada System of Higher Education. In their role at CharterUP, they worked with 1200+ operators across North America to create an online marketplace for charter bus transportation. At the Nevada System of Higher Education, they assisted in field surveys of Neotoma spp. populations in Central California and worked alongside a graduate student to set traplines, collect/record data, and handle study animals.
Kristine Zimmer attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2018 to 2022, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Environmental Biology.
