Petr Kopač

Petr Kopač has worked in the software industry for over 10 years. Petr began their career in 2011 as a Software Developer at Eurosoftware. In 2013, they worked as an Intern at MEP Amelia Andersdotter for the European Parliament. Petr then moved to Samepage, where they served as a Senior Engineer/Data Analyst from 2013-2016. During this time, they worked with JavaScript, Python, Java, BASH scripting, SQL, real-time data processing & analysis, ad-hoc research & distributed parallel computation, advanced insightful visualizations, building and supporting data pipelines in AWS, ETL, business intelligence, basic machine learning, front-end and back-end coding related to statistics, and various databases. In 2016, they joined ChartMogul, where they held the roles of Software Architect, Engineering Lead, and Senior Software Engineer.

Petr Kopač began their educational journey in 2003 when they attended Hospitality High School Marianske Lazne. In 2007, they received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of West Bohemia, Pilsen. From 2010 to 2011, they studied Information Technology at Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Petr then returned to the University of West Bohemia, Pilsen, where they earned a Master's degree in Intelligent Computer Systems in 2014.
