Steve Himmelman

Steve Himmelman has extensive experience in human resources and management, currently serving as the Director of Human Resources - National Programs at Chartwell Retirement Residences since April 2019. Previous roles at Chartwell include Sr. Manager of Business Support Services and roles in real estate integration, having initially joined the organization in 2012. Prior to this, Steve was the Director of Human Resources at Reconnect Community Health Services for a brief period in late 2018. Steve's career also includes a role as Human Resources Manager at Dorothea Knitting Mills Ltd. and various positions at Cargill, where responsibilities spanned from production supervision to payroll administration. Steve holds an Hon. BA in Organizational Leadership from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Diploma in Business Administration - Management Studies from Conestoga College.
