David Arthur has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. David is the CEO and Co-Founder of CHASM Advanced Materials since 2015, where they focus on developing and manufacturing Carbon Nanotube Hybrids for the printed electronics and energy storage industries. Prior to this, from 2005 to 2019, David was the President and Co-Founder of CHASM Technologies, a consulting firm that specializes in helping clients commercialize new products through the application of materials science and process technology, with a focus on nanotechnology. Before that, they served as the CEO of SouthWest NanoTechnologies from 2005 to 2015. David also worked as the COO of Eikos, Inc. from 2001 to 2004 and as the VP Strategic Programs at Helix Technologies from 1999 to 2001. David has held the position of CEO at TPI Composites, Inc. from 1998 to 1999, where they implemented a diversification strategy and restructured the business. David also worked as the VP of Engineering and GM of the Cross Pen Computing Group at A.T. Cross Company from 1994 to 1998. David started their career at Rogers Corporation in 1980, where they worked in R&D, Manufacturing, and Marketing, developing composite materials for electronics packaging applications.
David Arthur completed their high school education at Boston Latin School from 1970 to 1976. David then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at Tufts University, graduating in 1980. From 1983 to 1986, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Connecticut. Lastly, in 1995 to 1996, David pursued an MBA at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.
