Liming Zhang

Liming Zhang has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and software development. From November 2017, they worked at Chata as a Senior Data Engineer, where they provided guidance and support to junior developers and implemented various technical solutions, including OAuth flow, ETL pipeline redesign, data transformation, and message delivery. They also gathered real-time and non-real-time financial data through web services.

Prior to Chata, Liming Zhang worked at TELUS as a Senior Programmer/Analyst from April 2012 to October 2017.

Before that, they worked at Thomson Reuters, starting in 2007. At Thomson Reuters, they held roles as Lead Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer. Their responsibilities included initiating projects, coordinating resources, monitoring project status, resolving technical issues, analyzing custom requests, conducting design work, coding in PL/SQL and Java, bug fixing, providing support, and performing performance monitoring and tuning.

Liming Zhang obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Beihang University, completing the program from 2001 to 2004.
