Katie Ranaraja

Katie Ranaraja has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Katie currently works at Chatfuel, where they hold the position of Content Team Lead and Content Project Manager. Prior to this, they worked as an English Teacher at BL Qingdao, where they conducted regular English language classes, created teaching materials, and planned campus activities. Katie also worked as a Foreign Language Teacher at the International Institute of Education, where they taught foreign languages. Katie has experience in the field of education, having worked as an Art Teacher/Translator/Tutor at a Kindergarten and Art School, where they developed study plans, conducted workshops, and taught art to children. Before that, they worked as the Manager of Consulting at Optim Co, where they handled customer requests, searched for potential customers and suppliers, and facilitated sale and purchase transactions. Katie also worked as a Senior Project Coordinator at Little Fingers Art Studio and as a Sales Manager at the "5+" Supermarkets Chain. In their roles as a Project Coordinator and Sales Manager, they managed commercial negotiations, monitored the quality and efficiency of goods transportation and storage, and controlled pricing. Katie Ranaraja has a diverse education history. In 2006 to 2011, they attended Far Eastern Federal University in Russia, where they obtained a Master's degree in Economics and Enterprise Management. During the same period, they also completed a Business English course at the university. In 2009 to 2011, Katie studied Chinese language courses at both Far Eastern Federal University and the Maritime Regional Institute of Education Development in Vladivostok, Russia. In 2011 to 2012, they furthered their language skills by taking a Chinese language course at DUFL (Dalian University of Foreign Languages) in China. Additionally, in 2017, they pursued teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) in Chengdu, China.
