Jeff Strickler, DHA, RN, NEA-BC has extensive work experience in various healthcare roles. Jeff started their career at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where they served as the Director of Emergency, Trauma, and Ambulatory Services. In 2003, they joined UNC Health Care and held multiple positions, including Director of Emergency Services and Vice President. Jeff recently served as the Chief Operating Officer of Hillsborough Hospital and the interim Chief Nursing Officer. In 2019, they became the President of Chatham Hospital Inc. Alongside their hospital work, Jeff also founded and served as CEO of GMS Training Solutions. Jeff has also worked as faculty at the University of Mount Olive and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Jeff Strickler, DHA, RN, NEA-BC has an extensive educational background in the field of healthcare. Jeff earned their Doctor of Health Administration degree from the Medical University of South Carolina between 2012 and 2015. Prior to that, Jeff obtained a Master of Arts degree in Applied Organizational Management from Tusculum University, though the exact years of study are unknown. In 1989, they graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.

In addition to their formal education, Jeff has acquired several certifications throughout their career. Jeff obtained the Nurse Executive Advanced certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in September 2018. In 2005, they earned the Nurse Executive certification from the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE). Jeff also holds the Certified Flight Registered Nurse certification from the Emergency Nurses Association, which they obtained in 2004. Lastly, they became a Certified Emergency Nurse in 1991, also awarded by the Emergency Nurses Association.
