Ellen Puffer, MBA, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations and roles. Ellen is currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Chattanooga Tourism Co., a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, Ellen worked at FamilyMenders for almost nine years, where they held various positions including Program Director and Services Administrator. In these roles, they managed large teams, oversaw HR activities, and implemented mentoring and case staffing programs. Before joining FamilyMenders, Ellen was the Managing Partner of My Family Dinners, a meal preparation and catering company. Ellen also worked as an Administrative Assistant at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where they handled various administrative tasks and served as a liaison for the SimCenter. Ellen's extensive experience in HR, team management, and administrative support positions their as a well-rounded professional.
Ellen Puffer has an MBA from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, which was completed in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. in General Management from the same institution, which they completed in 2009. In 2005, Ellen attended the University of St Andrews, where they studied Management and Social Anthropology. Additionally, Ellen has obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education and is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
