Shivani Desai

Shivani Desai has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Shivani began their career as Co-Founder and President of the South Asian Student Association at KU. In 2009, they interned in the Scheduling & Acquisitions Department at Lifetime Television, where they conducted a competitive analysis project and screened and evaluated various television movies, documentaries, reality shows, and series. In 2011, they worked as a Social Media Specialist at Deluxe Corporation, where they analyzed the current social media presences of 20+ small to medium-sized businesses and formulated a custom social media strategy for each client. From 2012-2013, Desai was the Director of Cultural Awareness and Special Events for the National Association of Asian American Professionals - Greater Kansas City. Shivani then worked at 1000heads from 2013-2016, first as a Senior Community Executive and then as an Account Manager. In 2016, they joined ChatterBlast Media as an Account Manager, and was later promoted to Senior Account Manager.

Shivani Desai received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from the University of Kansas in 2010. Shivani also obtained a dual degree in Psychology and Business from the University of Kansas in 2006. No additional certifications are listed.
