Anna Hughes

Anna Hughes is a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in developing impactful web applications across various sectors. Currently at CHAYN, Anna supports the core software engineering team and maintains Bloom, a web app for survivors of gender-based violence. Previously, Anna held similar positions at TransitionZero, where frontend infrastructure for Future Energy Outlook was built, and at the School of SOS, developing a progressive web app for a dance empowerment platform. As a Tech Lead at CHAYN and onHand, Anna planned and built platforms that addressed critical social issues. With experience ranging from non-profits to technology, Anna's expertise encompasses frontend development, application design, and team leadership, supported by a solid educational foundation in computing and business management from universities in the UK and the Netherlands.
