Andrea Bajana

Andrea Bajana has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. Andrea is currently working at South Bronx Community Charter High School, where they serve as the Regents and AP Testing Coordinator and the National Honor Society Advisor. In their role as the National Honor Society Advisor, Andrea is responsible for coordinating with the faculty, administration, student body, and community regarding matters related to the Honor Society. Andrea also organizes quarterly community service events, advises NHS members through the scholarship application process, and leads the annual student application and selection process.

Prior to their current role, Andrea worked as a Special Education Teacher at South Bronx Community Charter High School. Andrea also has experience with Teach For America, where they served as a Corps Member and later held roles as a Campus Campaign Coordinator and Recruitment Coordinator.

Andrea's previous work experience includes a position as a Community Habilitation Worker at CHDFS, Inc., and as a Campaign Manager at Oxfam America. In their role at Oxfam America, they developed and executed strategic fundraising plans, cultivated long-term relationships with key donors, and led a team of fundraising professionals.

Andrea Bajana has a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching, which they obtained from Relay Graduate School of Education between the years 2020 and 2023. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate education at John Jay College (CUNY) from 2016 to 2020, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Human Rights.
