He was involved with Hearts & Minds Operations during the Counter Insurgency Era 80s (Fighting Communist Terrorists) and military operations during national disasters. He is the SME for the Joint Military Appreciation Process Subject (Integrated Planning Process) at Malaysia Armed Forces Command &Staff College & Malaysia National Defense University. "Spec is also a qualified Armed Forces Crisis Negotiator from Malaysia Armed Forces Defense Intelligence - FBI US and certified Weapons of Mass Destruction from the Royal Malaysian Police College-Anti Terrorist Mobile Team Us

"Spec" has graduated from many national and international courses including Special Forces Qualification Course, Fort Bragg. NC and US Marine Corps University in Quantico (Diploma), US.

He has been awarded several honours and medals from His Majesty. the King of Malaysia and Sultan of Johor. He was also involved in the United Nation Mission in Mozambique (ONUMOZ) 1993-1994 as an observer.

"Spec holds a Master's degree in Social Science and Humanities from the University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).

He joined Check-6 as a coach in 2015 and became the Country Manager in 2016. In 2018, he was appointed as the Managing Director of Check-6 Bakti (Malaysia).

Since joining Check-6, he has been involved in training hundreds of O&G personnel - Trained Performance Excellence, Plan Based Execution, High Reliability Leadership and Management Procedures and Processes, Crew Resource Management and giving solutions to challenges faced by various organizations in the Oil and Gas industry.
