Robert Potts

Robert Potts serves as Engineering Manager at Check-Mate Industries, Inc. since July 2019, overseeing R&D, Product, and Manufacturing Engineering activities in a start-up environment and building the engineering team and processes from the ground up. At Koyo Bearings North America from April 1998 to July 2015, Robert held various positions, including New Product Launch Manager and Engineering Group Leader, focusing on new item launches and process excellence. Robert began the career as a Mechanical Engineer at Raytheon, providing engineering support for commercial laundry machinery. Education was completed at Florida State University with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
