Dan Pooley has worked in a variety of roles in the customer service and customer success fields since 2005. Dan began their career as a Food Service Team Member at KFC, followed by a Waiter at Gianni's of Double Bay in 2008. Dan then moved to the Rose Bay Hotel in 2009, where they worked as a Bar Tender and Gaming Attendant. In 2011, they joined Apple as a Business Specialist. In 2014, they began working at Kounta as a Lead Customer Success Manager and VP of Customer Success & Communications. In 2017, they transitioned to Total Synergy as a Customer Success Leader. In 2018, they joined Employment Hero as the Head of Customer Success and then the Head of Client Services. In 2020, they became an Advisor for Customer Success at Curious Thing AI and the Head of Customer Success at Limepay. Finally, in 2022, they were appointed Head of Customer Success at Checkbox.ai.
Dan Pooley completed their HSC at The Scots College in 2008, having studied English advanced, English extension 1, English extension 2, Music 3, Drama, and Biology. Dan then went on to the Sydney Conservatorium, where they obtained a Bachelor of Music in Performance in 2010. Finally, they attended the Australian International Conservatorium of Music, graduating with an Associate Degree in Music in 2013.
