Ivan Burcev

Ivan Burcev has a strong background in computer vision research engineering. Ivan started their career in 2014 at Kuznech Inc, where they worked as a Computer Vision Research Engineer until 2017. Ivan then moved on to work at Gruppa "Kronshtadt" as a Computer Vision Research Engineer from October 2017 to September 2018. After that, they joined xHamster as a Computer Vision Research Engineer, where they developed various features based on face detection/recognition, object detection, and image classification using PyTorch, MMdetection, TFServing, OpenCV, SQL, and Python. Ivan worked at xHamster until January 2020. Ivan then joined Giant.AI as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer from January 2020 to August 2022. Most recently, they joined Checklens as an Engineering Manager and is currently serving as the Head of Technology.

Ivan Burcev pursued their education at ITMO University, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Math Modeling from 2011 to 2015. Later, they continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Emergency Computing and Processing of Extra Large Volumes of Data between 2015 and 2017.
