José Manuel Pereira

José Manuel Pereira began their work experience in 2016 as a Researcher at INESC Technology and Science - Associate Laboratory. José Manuel then moved on to work as a Software Developer at Checkmarx in October 2016, where they currently hold the position.

José Manuel Pereira completed their education in a systematic manner. José Manuel first attended the Universidade do Minho from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a degree in Ciências da Computação (Computer Science). Afterward, they pursued a Mestrado em Engenharia Informática (Master's in Computer Engineering) from the Escola de Engenharia da Universidade do Minho from 2014 to 2016. José Manuel'sfocus during this program was on Métodos Formais em Engenharia de Software & Processamento de Linguagens e Compiladores (Formal Methods in Software Engineering & Language Processing and Compilers).

In addition to their formal education, José Manuel Pereira has also obtained several certifications. In August 2021, they completed the "Learning SSL/TLS" certification from LinkedIn, followed by the "Learning Vue.js" certification in July 2021 and the "Software Architecture: Breaking a Monolith into Microservices" certification, also in July 2021, both obtained from LinkedIn.
