Jason Goodman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jason started their career as a Publications Manager at the Comptroller of Maryland in 2001 and later became a Lecturer at Anne Arundel Community College in 2006. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in various product management roles, where they developed and implemented initiatives for the E-Verify employment eligibility verification program.

In 2011, Jason became a Senior Advisor to the Treasurer at the U.S. Department of the Treasury before transitioning back to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2012 as a Product Development Chief, overseeing the implementation of information technology and business process reengineering projects.

Jason then moved to Xero in 2015, where they became a Senior Product Manager responsible for managing Xero's payroll product. In 2017, they joined Topia as a Senior Product Manager, and concurrently served as an Instructor at Product School.

In 2018, Jason joined FLYR as the Director of Product, leading a team and overseeing the development of FLYR's product portfolio. Jason played a key role in launching the FusionRM MVP, securing proofs of concept with large airlines, and implementing a product development approach aligned with SaaS best practices.

Currently, Jason works at Checkr, Inc., where they first served as a Lead Product Manager from May 2019 to April 2021. Jason then transitioned to the role of Principal Product Manager in April 2021, responsible for driving product strategy and execution.

Jason then returned to the University of Maryland and earned an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business, specializing in Business, from 2008 to 2010. During the same period, they also received a Master of Public Policy in Public Policy from the University of Maryland.
