Victoria Park

Victoria Park has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Software Engineer at Checkr, Inc. Victoria joined the company in December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a User Acceptance Testing Analyst at Apple from June 2019 to December 2021.

Before joining Apple, Victoria worked at Roorda Optometry Labs as a Full Stack Developer from July 2017 to May 2019. During this time, they created a web app interface for Graduate Optometry students, translating legacy Matlab code to Python.

In addition to their technical roles, Victoria also had experience as a Tech Intern at AFX Dance from August 2017 to May 2018, where they developed an algorithm to optimize team size using Python and Ruby on Rails.

Victoria's leadership skills are evident from their role as the President of the Berkeley Math Tournament from August 2016 to December 2017, where they managed a committee of ten officers and organized a tournament with over four hundred participants. Victoria also served as the Publicity Chair for Women in Math from January 2016 to May 2017.

Prior to their professional roles, Victoria worked as a Computer Lab Assistant at UC Berkeley from June 2016 to December 2017, demonstrating their technical expertise even during their academic years.

From 2014 to 2018, Victoria Park attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. During their time there, they studied Computer Science, Economics, and Applied Mathematics.
