Lea Howe is the Project Director at Chef Ann Foundation, leading the development and implementation of a project aimed at transforming the school food system to ensure access to nutritious foods in K-12 schools. Previously, Lea worked at DC Greens in various roles including Director of Institutional Food Initiatives, Director of School Food Initiatives, and Farm to School Director. Lea's experience includes policy advocacy, program development, managing coalitions, and implementing educational programs related to food systems. Lea has also served as a Fellow at Princeton AlumniCorps and FoodCorps, gaining valuable professional development and leadership skills. With a background in anthropology from Barnard College, Lea brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the field of food advocacy and education.
