Gustav Rydstedt

Gustav Rydstedt is an accomplished technology leader, currently serving as Chief Architect at Chegg Inc. since May 2023, focusing on enhancing student empowerment through generative AI. Previously, Gustav held the position of VP of Engineering at Busuu from January 2020 to May 2023 and was the CTO/Co-Founder of Verbling from July 2012 to January 2020, participating in YCombinator S11. Earlier roles include Lead Engineer at Blizzard Entertainment, where responsibilities encompassed engineering management for complex fraud prevention products, and Software Engineer at Electronic Arts, where Gustav developed a classification engine for detecting online cheating.
