Jim Willey Pe

Jim Willey PE is an experienced engineering and operations professional with over 30 years in the power generation industry. Currently serving as Hydro Plant Engineering Manager at Chelan County PUD since June 2023, Jim manages a team of 10 engineers overseeing the operation and maintenance of 31 hydroelectric units generating 1.5 gigawatts on the Columbia River. Prior roles include Plant Director positions at LCRA for both Lost Pines Power Park and Fayette Power Project, where Jim managed large gas and coal-fired power plants. Jim also has extensive international experience, having served as Plant Director/President for the Paiton Power Plant in Indonesia and Facility Manager/VP for Quezon Power Plant in the Philippines. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso.
