Jake Schmidt

Jake Schmidt is currently the Senior Vice President and Legal Counsel at Chelsea Avondale since April 2022. Prior to this, Jake worked as an Associate in Restructuring at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP from March 2020 to April 2022. Before that, Jake held positions as an Associate in Insolvency and Corporate Restructuring at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, and as a Summer Law Student at the same company. Jake also has experience as a Legal Intern in Legal Compliance at SOS Children's Villages International and as a Management Assistant at Anheuser-Busch InBev. Jake holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Western University and the University of Groningen, and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, and History from Western University.
