Katie Crouthamel (Gwirtz)

Controls Project Management at Chelsea Lighting

Katie Crouthamel (Gwirtz) has a diverse range of work experience in project management and construction. Katie is currently working at Chelsea Lighting as a Controls Project Manager. Previously, they worked at Lutron Electronics, where they held various roles including Commercial Project Manager, Project Leader, Senior Project Coordinator, and Integrated Systems Project Coordinator. In these positions, they managed commercial lighting and shade control projects, produced estimates and schedules, and coordinated resources and schedules within a team environment. Prior to Lutron Electronics, they worked at Orange Energy Solutions, LLC as a Productions Assistant, and at Ederer Construction as a Residential Construction Intern.

Katie Crouthamel (Gwirtz) attained their Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Kent State University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Certificate in Sustainable Practices from Philadelphia University, completing the program in 2012. Katie also obtained a LEED Green Associate certification from the US Green Building Council in December 2011.
