Richard Houchin

Richard Houchin currently serves as the Director of Admissions at Cheltenham Ladies' College, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Richard held multiple positions at RGS Worcester from September 2008 to January 2023, including Assistant Head (Academic) and Director of Admissions and Partnerships, following an initial role as Head of Economics and Business. Richard's career began in education at Ralph Allen School as a Teacher of Economics and Business before transitioning to roles at Bristol Grammar School, where Richard advanced to 2 i/c of the Economics and Business department, and subsequently served as Head of Department at QEH Bristol. Richard holds a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Birmingham and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Leicester, complemented by a PGCE from the University of Hull.
