Hendrik Post

Hendrik Post has extensive experience in the maritime industry, particularly in the role of Chief Engineer. Hendrik has worked for several companies throughout their career, including Chemgas, Essberger Tankers, Anthony Veder Rederijzaken BV, and Broere Shipping. Hendrik also has experience as a Second Engineer and Third Engineer. Prior to their work in the maritime industry, they worked as a Test Technician for Philips and an Accelerator Technician for National Electrostatics Corp. Their earliest work experience was as a Technician for Thermo Electron.

Hendrik Post began their education in 1989 at Middelbare School voor Scheepswerktuigkundigen, where they pursued a degree in Marine Engineering. Hendrik completed their studies in 1992. In 2000, Hendrik attended Madison Area Technical College, where they obtained an Associates degree in Electronics Technology, graduating in 2003.

In terms of additional certifications, Hendrik achieved several qualifications. In September 2015, they obtained the C.o.P. Survival Craft and Rescue Boats certification from DHTC BV, approved by The Netherlands Shipping Inspectorate. In the same month, they also earned the C.o.P. Advanced Fire Fighting certification from G4S Training & Safety BV, also approved by The Netherlands Shipping Inspectorate.

In November 2015, Hendrik received the High Voltage certification from Certium BV, approved by The Netherlands Shipping Inspectorate. Continuing in November 2015, they attained the C.o.P. Engine room Resource Management certification from STC BV, following DNV Standard for Certification of Learning Programmes DNVGL-ST-0008. Additionally, they earned the C.o.P. Medical First Aid certification from G4S Training & Safety BV, which was approved by The Netherlands Shipping Inspectorate.

Moving on to February 2016, Hendrik obtained the C.o.C. Chief Engineer no limitations certification from Inspectie Leefomgeving en Transport. In the same month, they also acquired the C.o.P. Oil and Chemical tankers certification from the same institution.

Lastly, in October 2016, Hendrik completed the Specialized Training Programme on Gas Tanker Operations, regulated under A-V/1-2-2 of STCW2010, through the Belgian Authorities.
