Lolade Bashiru

Lolade Bashiru is an experienced finance and strategy professional with experience providing strategic and corporate finance advice to companies across West Africa. She joined CAP as Head, Strategy & Transformation in 2022 and is responsible for shaping and executing CAP’s overall strategy and transformation program to drive long-term value creation.

She most recently served as a Vice President on the Investment team at UAC of Nigeria Plc (“UAC”), responsible for managing UAC’s business interests in the paints and animal feeds segments. Prior to joining UAC, Lolade worked in the Investment Banking division of Ecobank Development Company with a focus on debt finance. She started her career at PwC Nigeria, as a consultant in the Transaction Services unit, where she conducted due diligence reviews providing financial and commercial insights to a diverse group of clients.

Lolade holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Lagos and a Master’s degree in Energy and Environmental Management and Economics from Scuola Enrico Mattei, Milan. She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a CFA Charterholder.
