Jason Koeller, PhD

Jason Koeller, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry and data science. Starting in 2017, they joined Cuberg as a research scientist, where they played a vital role in electrolyte development as a Battery Scientist. Jason was also the third employee of the company. In 2019, they transitioned to Citrine Informatics as a Data Scientist. Jason'sresponsibilities in this role lasted until 2020. Most recently, in 2021, they co-founded Chemix, Inc. and currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Jason Koeller, PhD, completed their education with a strong focus on physics. Jason began their academic journey in 2006 at Memorial High School, where they earned their high school diploma. In 2010, they enrolled at the Colorado School of Mines, initially pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics. However, after two years, they transferred to The University of Texas at Austin to continue their studies in physics. At UT Austin, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in 2014. Subsequently, they joined the University of California, Berkeley, where they pursued a Master of Science degree and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Physics from 2014 to 2017.
