Praveen Sharma

Praveen Sharma has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2002, they started their career at Delphi Automotive as a Warranty & Test Engineer. Praveen then joined Futuris Automotive in 2005, where they served as a Product Engineer and later as a Senior Product Design Engineer until 2014.

In 2014, Praveen joined Tesla and held several leadership positions. From 2014 to 2015, they served as a Senior Supplier Management, managing supplier relationships. Praveen then became a Production Engineering Manager from 2015 to 2018, overseeing production processes. Praveen also played a crucial role in establishing Tesla's in-house Seat Factory as a Senior Manager of Plant Operations from 2018 to 2020. From 2018 to 2022, they served as the Senior Manager of Cell Manufacturing Operations, leading a team to build and launch Tesla's Li-Ion Dry Electrode Battery manufacturing operation.

In 2022, Praveen joined Verdagy as the Vice President of Operations. During their tenure, they focused on scaling advanced water electrolysis technology for large-scale industrial production of green hydrogen. Praveen worked towards optimizing manufacturing production processes and lowering upfront capital costs.

Currently, Praveen holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Chemix, Inc. since 2023.

Praveen Sharma pursued their education at Bangalore University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Later in 1999, they attended Swinburne University of Technology for a year, completing a Post Graduate degree in CIM.
