Li Yang has a diverse work experience in the field of water treatment and chemical engineering. Starting in 2003, Li worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Southern California before joining General Electric in 2005 as an Advanced Scientist. At GE, Li conducted research on water pretreatment and treatment technologies, developed chemical solutions for wastewater reuse projects, provided technical support for industrial water reuse projects, and assisted in optimizing oil removal efficiency. Li then worked as a Visiting Faculty at San Diego State University from 2008 to 2010. Following that, Li returned to General Electric as a Lead Technologist until 2013. Li subsequently joined Professional Water Technologies as a Product development engineer before eventually taking on the role of Principal Engineer and Membrane Chemical Product Champion at ChemTreat in 2014.
