Robert Sheres

Robert Sheres currently serves as General Counsel at Cheney Brothers, Inc., a position held since July 2017, and previously held the role of Deputy General Counsel there. Prior to this, Robert was a Partner at DuBosar Sheres, P.A. from July 2009 to July 2017, focusing on complex commercial litigation, appeals, professional malpractice, lender liability, real estate, business transactions, and bankruptcy. Robert also garnered experience as a Judicial Law Clerk/Attorney to Judge Gary M. Farmer at the Fourth District Court of Appeal in Florida from September 2008 to July 2009, and served as a Research Assistant at Nova Southeastern University, contributing research for the Florida Bar's Standing Committee on Judicial Independence. Robert holds a BBA in Entrepreneurship/Business from the University of Miami and earned a J.D. summa cum laude from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.
