Igor Norinsky has a diverse work experience in the energy industry, with a strong focus on corporate development, strategy, business development, and commercial and legal roles. Igor started their career in 2005 as a Colin Powell Fellow at the U.S. Ambassador's Office to the United Nations. Igor then worked as a Special Assistant to the Division Chief at the U.S. Department of State. In 2010, they became a U.S. Associate at Linklaters LLP before joining Vinson & Elkins LLP in 2012 as an Associate, where they advised clients in the energy industry on a wide range of transactional matters. In 2015, they joined Jordan Cove LNG (Pembina LNG Division) as a Senior Manager, where they played a significant role in the development of the Jordan Cove LNG project and the associated Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline. Currently, they work at Cheniere Energy, Inc. as the Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategy, with previous experience as the Director of Business Development & Strategy.
Igor Norinsky received their J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School from 2007 to 2010. Igor also attended Yale Law School as a visiting student in 2009 and 2010. During the same period, they pursued a Certificate in Business and Public Policy from The Wharton School. Before that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English (with honors) and Political Science from Baruch College in 2005. Igor Norinsky has additional certifications, being admitted to practice law in both New York and Texas.
