Patrick Ward

Patrick Ward has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Patrick currently holds the position of Vice President, Project Development, and Engineering at Cheniere Energy, Inc., a role they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Engineering at the same company, starting in October 2018. Before joining Cheniere Energy, Inc., Patrick worked at BP for a decade. During their time at BP, they held various roles, including Engineering Manager, Director of Org. Capability for Engineering in the Global Projects Organization, and Engineering Manager for E&P Major Project in Trinidad.

Patrick Ward completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in 1991. In 2007, they attended the BP Projects Academy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. From 2010 to 2011, Ward pursued studies in Engineering Management at The University of Manchester.
