Lynn Johnson has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Lynn began their career as a Packaging Intern at Alberto Culver in 2003. Lynn then moved on to work as a Project Engineer at Pfizer, where they were responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and achieving project success. Lynn joined Amway as a Mechanical Project Engineer in 2008, and their responsibilities included managing packaging equipment projects from concept to completion. At George Weston Foods, they worked as a Project Engineer and managed multiple projects simultaneously. Lynn also served as a Packaging Engineering Lead at Lion, where they played a crucial role in a major capital project. Currently, Lynn is working at CHEP, where they hold the positions of DEI Lead APAC & IMETA and Senior Manager of Process Engineering APAC. Through their roles, Lynn has gained expertise in project management, risk analysis, budget control, and adherence to safety standards.
Lynn Johnson's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Packaging Science from Michigan State University, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Recently, in 2020-2021, they completed a program in Organizational Leadership at Women & Leadership Australia (WLA). Lynn has also obtained several certifications, including "Mental Health First Aider" from Mental Health First Aid Australia in December 2021, and "Lean In" certification from Lean In in 2018. Additionally, they have received certifications in "Strategic Thinking" from LinkedIn in 2022, and "#IamRemarkable Facilitator" from Google in 2020. Lynn is currently pursuing an upcoming certification titled "An Indigenous Voice to Parliament" from Macquarie University, which will be obtained in 2023.
