Travis Bassano currently serves as Principal Engineer at Cherish, focusing on the development of radar-based sensors and AI technologies to enhance in-home safety for individuals with health challenges. Previously, Travis held the position of Senior Manager of FPGA Engineering at Epirus, contributing to software-defined directed energy systems. Experience also includes work at MIT Lincoln Laboratory as an FPGA Subcontractor, where Travis specialized in radar applications, as well as a decade-long tenure at SRC that encompassed roles such as Lead FPGA Engineer and Lead Hardware and Embedded Software Engineer, overseeing various defense-related projects. Travis holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Clarkson University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University.
