Chpa-III Vern Abila

Vern Abila, CHPA-III, has over three decades of experience in the security industry. Vern is currently the Director of Security Operations at Cherokee Federal, where they are responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive security programs for high-profile state, federal agencies, and commercial firms. Vern conducts threat and vulnerability assessments and ensures compliance with security industry best practices. Prior to their current role, Vern was the President & CEO of Abila Security & Investigations Inc, where they oversaw the company's operations for over 20 years. Before that, they worked as a Protection Agent at SISS and MVM. Vern also served as a Shift Leader at OSCE and a Protective Agent at Logistical Management Corporation. Vern began their career as a Security Agent at Vance International.
