Laura Kole

Laura Kole currently serves as an Assistant Principal and previously held the role of Instructional Specialist at Chesapeake Public Schools since August 2020. Prior to this, Laura Kole accumulated over 13 years of experience as a Social Studies Teacher within the same school district from January 2007 to June 2020. Earlier professional experience includes a position in Marketing & Planning at Bon Secours Health System from August 2003 to September 2006. Laura Kole has an extensive educational background, holding a Doctor of Education (EdD) in K-12 School Administration from Regent University, which was completed in December 2022. Additional credentials include an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in K-12 School Administration from Regent University (2019) and a Master of Education (MEd) in Education from Old Dominion University (2006). Laura Kole obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and Government from James Madison University in 2003, following graduation from Indian River High School in 1999.
