Lauren Baddeley

Assistant Director, Foundation English & Maths & Crewe Campus at Cheshire College

Lauren graduated from Lancaster University with a Degree in English Literature in 2013. Her love of education then led her to complete a Masters’ Degree in Creative Writing, and she graduated from Keele with her MA in early 2015. After gaining experience in a range of schools and teaching undergraduates as part of this course, Lauren decided to pursue a career in education in the FE sector, and she graduated from Staffordshire University with a PGCE in English in 2015. She joined the College in August of that year, and has since spent four years teaching both A Level English Language and GCSE English Language here, as well as examining for AQA A Level English Language. In June 2019, she was appointed as the Assistant Director of Maths and English at the Crewe Campus and hopes to help as many learners as possible, not only achieve their goals within these subjects, but truly enjoy their time in the department.
