Eleanor Thomas

Conservation Education Assistant at Chester Zoo

Eleanor Thomas is an experienced professional in wildlife conservation and education, currently serving as a Conservation Education Assistant and Zoo Ranger at Chester Zoo since September 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Front of House at The Faulkner Chester Limited and a Freelance Education Officer with Cheshire Wildlife Trust. Eleanor also completed a Conservation traineeship as a Wildlife Trainee with Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust. At Reaseheath College, notable positions included HE Student Governor and Academic Vice President, along with various roles in bar staff and student association activities. Eleanor holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Wildlife Conservation and Ecology from the University of Chester and has achieved Level 2 in British Sign Language.
