Eungkyu Kim

Eungkyu (EK) Kim, Ph.D, is a highly experienced professional in the field of polymer science and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Product Development Scientist at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company since January 2023. Prior experience includes significant roles at ExxonMobil, where positions held included Senior Manufacturing Technical Engineer and Complex Senior Technical Engineer, and a lengthy tenure at The Dow Chemical Company, culminating in a retirement as a Research Scientist in Industrial Solutions Business R&D. Throughout a distinguished career, Eungkyu Kim has led global R&D projects related to new product introductions, specialty chemicals, and materials science, while also spearheading multiple new business development initiatives. Eungkyu Kim holds a Ph.D in Polymer Science and Engineering from The University of Akron and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Dankook University.
