Andrew Stembridge has had a diverse range of roles within the hospitality industry. Andrew started as the Front of House Manager at Hotel du Vin at One Devonshire Gardens in 1993. Andrew then moved on to become the Assistant Manager at Blantyre in 1995. Stembridge later became the General Manager at SCOTSMAN EDINBURGH HOTEL LIMITED from 2001 to 2003. In 2003, they became the Managing Director of Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa, a position they held until 2012. Stembridge then took on the role of Managing Director at Cliveden House from 2012 to present. Additionally, Stembridge has held various leadership positions, including Chairman of The Master Innholders from 2012 to 2014, and as a Member of Relais & Châteaux's International Executive Board from 2009 to 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Director at Iconic Luxury Hotels. In 2017, they also became a Director at The Lygon Arms Hotel. Stembridge is a Member of St Julian Scholars since 1998.

Andrew Stembridge attended The Edinburgh Academy from 1976 to 1982. Andrew then went on to Earlston High School, where they received Higher Grades from 1983 to 1989. Stembridge continued their education at the University of Strathclyde from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Hotel Management & Tourism. In 1998, they attended Cornell University and completed a Global Management Program (GMP) with a focus on Hotel Management. Stembridge later pursued further education at Cranfield School of Management in 2010 and 2011, earning a BLP degree.
