Udu Mark Akpaibor is an experienced professional with a strong background in tax and financial reporting. Udu Mark has held various positions in reputable organizations such as Tropical General Investments (TGI) Group, where they serve as Group Head - Tax & Transfer Pricing. Prior to this, Udu worked at Mondelēz International as Senior Tax Manager West Africa and at Nigerian Bottling Company Ltd as Tax Manager. Udu Mark also gained valuable experience at Unilever as Tax, Pensions & Insurance Manager. Udu began their career at KPMG Advisory Services as an Experienced Senior Tax Adviser, where they led engagement teams and conducted tax health checks. Udu Mark started their professional journey as an Executive Trainee at Zenith Bank PLC and worked briefly as an IT Trainee at Lighthouse Asset Management. Udu also showcases their writing skills as a writer and blogger.

Udu Mark Akpaibor (ACA, ACTI) completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Covenant University, attending from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained their WASSCE from King's College Lagos between 1998 and 2004. In terms of professional qualifications, Akpaibor has completed the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria program, which is expected to conclude in 2022, and has also obtained membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 2016.
