Josh Williams

Josh Williams has a diverse work experience history. Josh started their career at Aon Hewitt in 2009 as a Benefits Specialist and worked there until 2011. Josh then joined Teach For America in 2013 as a Corps Member Advisor for a brief period. After that, they worked at Hyde Leadership Charter School, where they held multiple roles, including 9th Grade English Teacher and Special Education Teacher from 2011 to 2014, Manager of Development and Communications from 2014 to 2015, and Director of Development and Communications from 2016 to 2017. In 2018, Josh worked as a Summer Associate at McKinsey & Company. Josh later joined the company as an Associate in 2019 and worked there until April 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Strategy & Operations at Chicago Beyond, starting from April 2022.

Josh Williams completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with majors in Finance, Strategy, and Economics at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management from 2017 to 2019. Josh earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Teaching, specializing in Secondary English and Special Education, from Fordham University between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance with a minor in English at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
