Jo Ann Henson, MA, LPC is a dedicated mental health professional specializing in therapy for victims of human trafficking. Currently serving as a Human Trafficking Therapist at the Chicago Children's Advocacy Center since January 2020, Jo Ann previously held roles as a Residential Counselor with Chugach Alaska Corporation and as a Crisis Counselor at the Community Counseling Centers of Chicago. Jo Ann's experience also includes working as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago and as a Mail Coordinator for Vargas Group. Jo Ann earned a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Argosy University Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Roosevelt University.
