Puppet Props And Scenic Designer at Chicago Children's Theatre

Grace Needlman is a seasoned professional in the field of theater and arts education, currently serving as the Co-Director of the Chicago Puppet Lab since August 2022 and managing studio programs at Marwen since July 2021. Needlman has designed puppets, props, and scenic elements for productions at the Chicago Children's Theatre and Rough House, contributing to both immersive theater for young audiences and experimental works for adults. Previously, Needlman held the position of Artistic Associate at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, managing youth and family programs, and co-curated projects at Links Hall and Corner Projects. Needlman holds a Master’s degree in Contemporary Art Theory from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Bachelor’s degree in Fine and Studio Arts from Yale University.
