Joe Palermo

Joe Palermo is a highly experienced audio engineer and sound designer with a diverse professional background in various organizations. Currently serving as the Resident Audio Engineer and Sound Designer at Cape Playhouse - Cape Cod Center for the Arts since March 2018, Joe has also been a Part Time Faculty Member at Loyola University Chicago since December 2016. Contributions to multiple projects include the role of A/V Technical Lead at The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, and positions as Audio Engineer at All Pro Audio Visual and PSAV. Additional experience includes work as Resident Audio Engineer at The Edge Theatre and Lead Audio Technician at the Chicago Fringe Festival, along with several sound design projects for theater productions such as "Getting Out" and "Jerker." Joe Palermo holds a degree in Digital Arts with a focus on Sound Design and Audio Engineering from Stetson University, completed in 2015.
